This multi-colored kiln-formed vessel in greens and blues was created in my home studio of quality art glass.  

Multiple layers of glass were fused together in the kiln to create the patterns in the glass. The minerals in the different colors of glass create new colors where they contact. When returned to the kiln heat and gravity stretched the glass to form the shape of this vase.
